Frequently Asked Questions

About Crystal Reserve

Who runs Crystal Reserve?

I do. My name is Landen Bennett, I'm based in Houston, Texas, and I run this business personally. When you call, I answer. When you email, you get me. There's no team, no call center, no sales reps. You can read more on my About page.

Authentication and Condition

Are your watches authentic?

Yes. Every watch on Crystal Reserve has been personally inspected by me before listing. I will never knowingly list, broker, or trade a counterfeit. If a watch ever turns out to be inauthentic against my own assessment, I refund you in full and cover all return shipping. Full stop.

Do you offer third-party authentication?

Not yet. I'm pursuing partnerships with third-party services to add that layer. Until then, I provide detailed photos, video, and documentation before purchase, and I'll work with you on independent post-purchase authentication if anything ever comes back inconsistent.

What condition are your watches in?

Every watch on Crystal Reserve is in excellent condition unless explicitly noted. For vintage or special pieces, condition is described in detail in the listing. If a watch has any flaws, dings, or service history I'm aware of, it's disclosed.

Do your watches come with box and papers?

Yes. Original box and papers are required for any piece I list, with rare exceptions for vintage or one-off watches where the absence is clearly disclosed.

Buying

What's the buying process?

Two ways. You can buy directly from any product page using Add to Cart and checkout, or submit an inquiry if you'd rather talk through a piece first. Either way, I'm happy to send additional photos, video, or close-ups of the exact watch, just ask. I'll also hop on a video call to walk you through any piece live before you commit. If you're spending serious money, I encourage you to reach out, even if it's just to confirm a detail.

Do you negotiate on price?

I price my watches fairly based on the current market. I'm always willing to have a conversation, and if there's room to work something out, I will. The worst I'll ever say is no.

Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free. Every watch ships fully insured for the full purchase price, at no additional cost to you.

How fast will my watch arrive?

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days, then shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight. In most cases, you'll receive your watch the next business day after it leaves my hands.

What does delivery look like?

Watches ship in plain, unmarked packaging with a generic return address, nothing on the outside signals what's inside. Adult signature is required on every delivery. If you won't be home, set up a free FedEx Delivery Manager account to redirect or hold the package.

Returns

What's your return policy?

You have 14 days from delivery to return your watch for a full refund. If the watch was misrepresented, I cover return shipping. If you simply changed your mind, you cover it. The watch must come back in the same condition I sent it, with all original packaging and papers. The full policy is here.

What if my watch arrives damaged?

Contact me immediately. Every shipment is fully insured, and I'll personally handle the claim and make it right, whether that means a refund, replacement, or other resolution.

Selling or Trading in Your Watch

Can I sell or trade in my watch?

Yes to both. I actively buy watches that fit my standards and inventory, and trade-ins are welcome, you can use the value as cash or as credit toward any piece I have. The process is the same either way: send me photos, the reference number, and details on box, papers, and condition. I'll come back with an initial assessment within 1–2 business days, and if we agree on a number, I'll walk you through next steps for shipping, inspection, and payment or credit.

What kinds of watches will you buy or take in trade?

I'm looking for pieces that meet the same standards I sell: excellent condition, authentic, with original box and papers when possible. I'll consider most major brands. If your watch doesn't fit what I can move, I'll tell you that directly rather than waste your time.

Working With Me

Can I just call you?

Yes. That's the whole idea. My number is below and on every page of this site. I pick up when I can, and I return missed calls.

What if I'm new to luxury watches and don't know what I'm doing?

Then we should talk. One of the things I enjoy most is helping someone buy their first serious watch without getting taken advantage of. I'll walk you through what to look for, what to avoid, and which pieces I think actually fit what you're after. Even if you don't end up buying from me, I'd rather you make a good decision elsewhere than a bad one.

Still have questions?

I'd rather have a five-minute conversation than have you guess. Call or email anytime. You'll always reach me directly.
