I founded Crystal Reserve because buying a watch should feel like buying from a friend who knows the market, not a transaction with a corporation.

I'm based in Houston, and I run this business personally. When you call, you get me. When you email, you get me. When you ask a question I can't answer, I'll tell you that, find out, and come back with the truth.

How I Got Here

I didn't grow up around watches. What I had was an obsession that started the way a lot of obsessions start, wanting something I couldn't afford. So I learned to build my own. I went deep on the watchmaking communities, ordered cases, dials, and movements, and figured it out one piece at a time.

That's when watches stopped being something I wanted to own and became something I wanted to understand.

A friend later asked me to broker the sale of his watch. I said yes, partly to test myself, partly to see if I could do it for other people. The deal closed. He was happy. The buyer was happy. And I realized I'd just done something I genuinely enjoyed.

That's the whole reason Crystal Reserve exists.
